Hungry? Wherever you go you won’t be too far from one of our restaurants, coffee shops or take-aways. Be sure to try our delicious famous local fish, the Barramundi, which is served in many restaurants.
Fish ‘n chips at the beach may appeal or you may prefer fine dining at one of our luxury resorts. Pick up a takeaway meal from a service station or sample some of our exotic locally-grown tropical fruits at a fruit farm. The adventurous may like to try a “Croc-burger” - or a traditional devonshire tea may be your style.
There are picnic areas with free electric barbeques – at Pioneers Park in Daintree Village for example which has a covered area near a pleasant little waterfall.
