The Daintree Village Tourism Association is a voluntary body comprising daintree accommodation and daintree tours operators and service providers within the travel industry operating between the Daintree River and the Mossman River north of Cairns in Tropical North Queensland.

Daintree Village
Mossman River to Daintree Village is a picturesque 35 km, half-hour drive. Mossman is 15km north of Port Douglas, and Cape Tribulation is 38km north of the Daintree River Ferry. All main roads and the majority of side roads are sealed as far as Cape Tribulation, with the remainder
being good all-weather unsealed.
Public transport is limited throughout the region so visitors not having their own transport should consider hiring a vehicle from one of the many car-hire companies in Cairns or Port Douglas. During the peak season between June and October it is advisable to book in advance.
